The International Cup is here! Lead your national team to victory and earn rewards along the way!
Put your managerial skills to the test by building, upgrading, and leading multiple nations to glory!

Lead Japan to victory on Normal difficulty to get the Japan National Team Kit!

How to Play

Select the event icon on the Home screen.

Press the Start button in the bottom-right corner of the Event screen to begin the International Cup.

Tally

Starting the International Cup increases the tally in the bottom-right corner of the screen by four.
This tally shows how many Career Mode seasons remain before you can enter the event again.
Each time you complete a Career Mode season, the tally decreases by one.
Once the tally reaches 0, you can participate in the International Cup again.
*You can also reduce the tally to 0 using GB/RB.

National Team Selection

There are two difficulty levels, NORMAL and HARD. All national teams start on NORMAL difficulty.
Once you win with a national team, its difficulty will change to HARD, and you'll face stronger opponents.
Earn a special title for every national team you lead to victory on HARD difficulty!
*The Japan national team is based on the June 2026 squad.

National Team Lineup

You can replace each national team's starting players with Prime Players of the same nationality that you own.
Select a player, then choose 'Eligible Players' from the submenu.
*Only Prime Players obtained through Scouting or other means can replace starting players. Registered players trained in Career Mode cannot be used.

Prime Players can only be added to your lineup from this screen.
*Prime Players cannot be added once the tournament has begun.
Starting players have random conditions, while Prime Players always start in Peak condition.
Prime Player will retain their upgrades from outside of the event, but Limit Break upgrades will have no effect.

Matches

There are no approach affinity bonuses.
There are no home or away matches.
Cup match abilites will activate.

Upgrading

You can use Upgrade Modules to boost your players's attributes and playstyle levels.
*This applies for both Prime Players and starting players.
Earn Upgrade Modules by completing Upgrade Module Missions.
Player rarity increases as you upgrade your team.

You can only upgrade your currently selected national team. Upgrades do not carry over to other national teams.
Each national team must be upgraded separately. Upgrade Modules are shared across all national teams.
*Upgrades cannot be reset.

Rewards

You can view the tournament rewards from the Tournament Rewards button in the upper-right corner of the Event screen.
Complete missions, such as logging in during the International Cup event or participating in the International Cup, to earn Prime Scouting/Training Card Ticket Boxes, GB, Golden Boots, and more!

*If you were already logged in before the event began, your first-day login will not be counted.
